With a chip of Ushuaia rock in my soul, El Calafate in the moutainous borderland across from Chile didn’t stand a chance.

We were asked to dance by some old guys, one of whom I am sure is the local capo – think Tony Soprano, but older and in white shoes and pressed white pants. He certainly regreted asking me to dance.
